A Founding Trustee Brendon Harris is a steward of the Bermudian Safety culture.
Educated as an architectural technologist he helped to create the islands government schools evacuation plans and was appointed Safety Officer in 2010.
Installed in the belief that excellence in Occupational Health Safety & Environment is a philosophy inherent to how business is done in all aspects of operations. Recognizing the most valuable assets are people, and that production, quality, and cost-effectiveness can be achieved through the daily integration of Safety Management Systems. The primary objective is to prevent all injuries by providing and maintaining the safest possible working conditions for all our employees and subcontractors through continued education and training.
The Bermuda Construction Safety Council was initiated by Harris in 2018 where he served as Public Safety Officer.
In 2023 Harris was appointed to the Advisory Board for Safety and Health.
